Comedy Central TV channel launches in Hungary

Comedy Central launches its Hungarian-language TV channel today. The station is targeting an audience aged between 18 and 39 and will initially reach 1.5 million households, broadcasting from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m, CEO of Comedy central Magyarország Levente B. Málnay said. The chief editor of the new channel is Gergely Litkai.

US investor group MTV Networks now has three independent channels in Hungary: music channels Viva and MTV, and now Comedy Central.
