Veres Voted Fourth-Worst FinMin in Europe

veres-janos-angry.jpgIn news that should be shocking no one, especially the seasoned observers who’ve been watching for years, Hungarian Finance Minister János Veres (left) was declared the fourth-worst person to serve in that post across Europe by the Financial Times, index.hu reported. As if it wasn’t enough, a further slap was added when the Financial Times listed Ján Počiatek of Slovakia in sixth place overall, with the Poles coming in eleventh and the Czechs thirteenth. The list only contained those who act solely as finance ministers, thus the list consisted of nineteen spots, with Veres coming in at sixteenth, followed only by his Spanish, Irish and Portuguese counterparts. Ouch.
