Arab investors plan luxury spa hotel in Northwest Hungary

A group of Arab investors plan to spend billions of forints to build a 300-room luxury hotel and water park in Veszprem (NW Hungary), the city’s mayor Janos Debreczenyi announced on Tuesday.

The investors from Saudi Arabia and Dubai have already chosen a law office and a planning office, Mr Debreczenyi said.

They want to complete the project in two to two-and-a-half years. A point of speical importance for the investors was the establishment of a civilian airport in nearby Szentkiralyszabadja.

The city will not offer the investors a tax break.
