The government will spend 300 million forints (EUR 1.3m) on a media campaign to present the effects of the global crisis on Hungary to the general public, government spokeswoman Bernadett Budai said on Monday.
Bids from members of national and local media and civil groups will be invited for submission until January 31, 2009, Budai said.
She added that the funds come out of the remainder of the budget for public communications.
