The environment ministry is currently looking for agencies to perform advertising and media activities related to a 2009 campaign aiming to raise environment consciousness in Hungary, according to Kreatív Online. A combined total of over Ft 200 million is available for the tasks.
The ministry will pay Ft 120 million (nearly €430,000) gross for communications tasks, which include press activity and film production, developing strategies and creative materials and organizing road shows and events. Applicants are required to have recent experience in creating materials for socially oriented campaigns costing at least Ft 100 million gross. In addition, they must have references worth at least Ft 50 million from government or ministry contracts and an annual turnover of at least Ft 50 million from PR or media purchase activities in the past three years.
Media tasks include both planning and buying, and the allocated amount is Ft 130 million. Applicants are required to have a turnover of at least Ft 50 million and government or ministry campaign references from the period between 2005 and 2007.
The deadline for application in both tenders is January 30.
