German carmaker Audi’s Hungary unit in Gyor (N Hungary) plans to suspend production in its plant for one week at the end of February, the unit’s communications director confirmed to MTI on Monday.
The mother company Audi AG in Germany will also suspend production in local plants between February 23 and 28, said Peter Lore.
Audi is one of Hungary’s biggest foreign investors with more than 3.3 billion euros invested in Gyor so far.
