Visitors to a government website may have seen data on other taxpayers instead of their own, due to a malfunction of the so-called “clients’ gate” site on Saturday.
Hackers may have been responsible, said government spokesman Dávid Daróczi, adding that the matter is under investigation.
Privacy ombudsman András Jóri promised an inquiry.
