Int’l sports retailer signs lease for 1,200 sqm in new Buda mall

International sporting goods retailer INTERSPORT has signed a lease contract for a 1,200 sqm outlet in Allee, a shopping mall that will open on the site of the former Skála department store in Budapest’s District XI this November, Portfolio.hu reports.

The mall, developed by ING Real Estate Development, will total 124,000 sqm and house offices and entertainment outlets in addition to a variety of shops and 1,200 parking spots.

Adjacent to the mall will sit a new 17,000 sqm residential block named Simplon Udvar (“Simplon Court”).

Total rentable space will be 46,000 sqm, including a 6,000 sqm underground hypermarket.

The A-category office building will have 6,800 sqm of rentable space.

Leasing is being managed by Cushman & Wakefield and Jones Lang LaSalle.
