Commercial television channel TV2′s revenue rose 1.3pc to HUF 26.53bn in 2008, CEO Zoltan Vardy said on Wednesday.
Profits were “up slightly”, Mr Vardy said, declining to be more specific. Still, TV2 was among the most profitable channels in the PorSiebenSat.1 group, he added.
Growth of revenue from advertising was under the overall increase.
Patrick Tillieux, managing director of ProSiebenSat.1 said the market would contract, but said he did not want to speculate by how much.
