Labor costs in Hungary rose significantly faster last year than in other EU countries, writes hrportal.hu, citing a review of Eurostat labor market data by business daily Világgazdaság.
While labor costs in Hungary increased an average 7.7% in 2008, the overall rise in “Eurozone” countries was only 3.9%, and 4.7% in the EU as a whole.
