Germans boost used car sales on back of weak forint

Germans have been taking advantage of the slump in the forint to buy up used cars in Hungary, reports Világgazdaság. Meanwhile, the number of Hungarians registering cars bought abroad has fallen by 20-25% as demand slumps and cost advantages are eroded by the exchange rate. Car leasing companies are also trying to negotiate longer terms with their customers in preference to buying back vehicles.
