Construction begins on mixed-use NEO Center in Kispest

London-based investment fund Chayton Capital LLP and Whitestone Investment Consulting Ltd have kicked off the first phase of their Ft 15 billion NEO Center complex project in Kispest, southeast Budapest. According to epulettar.hu, the main contractor, Strabag MML Kft, started construction work early last month and nearly 40% of lease contracts have already been signed.

NEO Center, a shopping, office and sports complex, will rise 11 stories and total 55,000 sqm, including an underground garage and a 9-storey office block.

With 17,000 square meters of Class A offices, 15,000 square meters of retail units, and sports facilities totaling 5,000 square meters, NEO Center will be located along Üllői út just across from the Europark in District XIX. The complex is scheduled to open next spring.
