Output of Hungary’s construction sector rose 3.5pc in March from the same month a year earlier according to both unadjusted and workday-adjusted figures, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Monday.
In a month-on-month comparison, construction sector output rose 5.9pc in March after a 8.4pc rise in February, according to seasonally- and workday-adjusted data.
Output in the first quarter was down 4.1pc from the same period a year earlier.
In February, output of the construction sector decreased 5.8pc yr/yr according to both unadjusted and workday-adjusted figures.
