Hungary does barely anything to curb corruption, Transparency International said in a report on the 36 countries who signed an OECD treaty on combating dishonesty.
Of these countries, four have achieved a high level of success in the fight against corruption, and eleven a middling level, but 21 nations, including Hungary, have made no impact whatsoever.
"In the present economic state of affairs it would be extremely important to counter corruption," Transparency International Hungary head Noémi Alexa pointed out.
