Justice Minister says government working on faster, simpler administration

The crisis has left the ongoing reform of public administration unaffected; the government has initiated a number of changes to make procedures for individuals and businesses faster and simpler, Justice Minister Tibor Draskovics told reporters on Tuesday.

Procedures of public administration, the registration of new businesses, public procurement and those of justice are being changed in order to reduce the number of visits customers need to pay to offices and offer electronic ways of resolving issues, Draskovics said.

The amended law on public administration and several hundred related laws will come into effect in October.
