The number of home building permits fell 19pc yr/yr to 17,003 in the first half of the year, however the number of new homes put on the market rose 16.3pc to 13,080, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Thursday.
In the first quarter, the number of homes put on the market dropped 7.0pc, while the number of new permits issued in January-March rose a sharp 15.0pc.
