Italy’s Coin group opened its first store outside of Italy on Váci utca in downtown Budapest on September 4, reports vg.hu. The store occupies 1,300 square meters in Palazzo Dorottya, developed by RDM, another Italian company. Coin sells medium-range apparel of its own and other brands, accessories, cosmetics and furnishing articles. The portal learnt that the company is planning to open further stores in Hungary by next spring, one in Budapest’s Campona mall, and others in Nyíregyháza, Debrecen, Kaposvár, Pécs, Szeged, Szolnokon and Miskolc. It did not escape the attention of Hungary’s tabloids that Paris Hilton was also present for the European launch of her “Paris Hilton Clothing Line” at the new store.

What a most wonderful and beneficial “news item.” If I only knew then that going to B-school all those years ago is going to pay off big dividends for me someday.
So, one more overpriced Dego clothing store that NOBODY REALLY NEEDS is opening up in the Overpriced Junk Capital of E-Europe: Budapest. In a building called a “Palazzo,” no less. Heck, I had always thought that “palazzos” were in Italy. And not in Tasmania or Mongolia, for example. And I never knew that we’ve got them “palazzos” right here in pee-poor Hungary. No shi*t?
Now, the scumbag “woman” who does not even have money for panties had also come to the Hungarian capital, I assume for the main purpose of showing off her bare cu*nt to the Hungarian press. That’ll help the country, I’m sure.
Wonderful business news overall, this “story” is, I am (almost) sure. Kudos to realdeal.hu for reporting it.
@Karman: The names of all the cafes and boutiques around Váci and ‘fashion street’ are somewhat desperate and ridiculous.
What I love is that the whole Palazzo Dorottya project must have cost a bit but their website [ http://www.palazzodorottya.com/ ] is just a $34.95 template makeover from Swish [ http://www.swishzone.com/index.php?area=products&product=sites ] with the same crappy music, too.
You are 100% right on the dot, Vándorló. The “Palazzo” (ha-ha-ha-ha) web site is the junkiest of all junk web sites. And once you start it up, somehow the stupid music keeps on streaming — even after you close the window! Typical flash-filled, Hungarian-quality garbage.
Actually, I was put on this Palazzo’s shit list right about two years ago, I believe it was. The office from No. 3 Andrassy ut kept sending me crap by mail, floor plans, “amenities list,” and of course a price list for the condo units. If I recall it correctly, a really small pad was listed for over 400,000 Euro bare, and the prices quickly went up to a million euros and more. Parking space was NOT included, and you could purchase only one of those for additional dough, anyhow.
Earlier this year, I was in Southern France, and happened to stop by to see someone in Monte Carlo who happens to live in the very same high-rise bldg where the actor Sir Roger Moore and Lady Cristina are resident celebrities.
Yeah, you’ve guessed it right: the prices in that bldg are rather comparable to what the “Palazzo People of Dorottya” are trying to squeeze out of unsuspecting foreigners. In fact, you had a few units on the market in that building in MC (and nearby) starting at EUR 500K. No wonder that so many of the “Palazzo apartments” of Pest are still unsold, and will continue to be so.
Besides, who wants to have a stupid-ass clothing store in the bulding where one lives, anyhow?
Karman. I like your style as opposed to these junk fucking boutiques opening here, there, and everywhere.
They will appeal to a lot of the mindless, illiterate, zombies that exist in all major cities not just in Budapest.
In England many sixteen year olds can neither read nor write..and the teachers are fucking useless as well!!
Brand names and arseholes like Paris Hilton
turn the heads of the uneducated. They think nothing of spending upwards of a hundred pounds/thirty thousand forint on a pair of trainers.
Guess who is laughing all the way to the bank??
I try to filter our this mass of human trash like the cunny-showing Paris Hilton. The gutter press calls this little dumb bitch with a negative 3 for an IQ a ‘socialite.’
Remember the old days when a socialite had to have some pedigree blue blood in her veins, and she also has to have CLASS?
This bimbo Hilton is such a low-class wash cloth, she walks around pantie-less, and expects the whole world to gape in amazement at the sight of her ugly you-know-what.
I hope they disinfected that store at the Budapest ‘palazzo’ after she cleared out of there. Did she actually SIT DOWN anywhere, does anyone know? This is how th swine flue virus could have started, come to think of it!
Who the heck did the little Missus Bitchus learn all these bad habits from, World’s Whore Madonna?
Paris Hilton..hotel or whore? Madonna..virgin or
vagabond? Neither of these two courtesans have
any talent except for flogging their tails on
the open market and earning lots of cash.
Everbody loves a winner?
Trashburgers,fat bastards, zit-ridden lazy morons,
drug-induced trances that get students from one
week to the next..poxy brand name clothing that
every dreary mindless football fan must have..
Culture, class, and creativity, have been washed
down the plughole once, and for all time!
Consumerism is king (or queen) – if your name
happens to be Madonna or Paris Hilton.
Interestingly, these “Cunning Cunny Courtesans” Whorie Madonna & Paris Hilton are seemingly more pupular in the East Block and elsewhere than in their own country.
It takes a short while for eastern bloc countries to
catch up. Gypos are sporting the John Travolta “look” – hairy chests, gold chains..and dego colours, (sorry “dayglo”) bright translucent lime,
orange and mango. No fashionable Italian shoes though, just plastic sandles from the local Kinai bolt (Chinese shop).
If I had one hundred forint for every clueless bint
I’ve seen walking round with dyed orange/red hair
I would be a millionaire.
The red-headed look was fashionable in the UK
some ten years ago.
Now then, where did I put those Beatles records?
Fashion is a frivolous mistress. The “reds” of today end up on the scrap heap of tomorrow.
Boldog uj évet.
