Investors to open 260-hectare business park in Pécs next month

Private investors plan to open a 260-hectare business park south of Pecs (SW Hungary) on schedule by the end of October, the attorney for project company IPP-Airport Invest Krisztina Fulop told MTI on Thursday.

The project will become Hungary’s biggest industrial park west of the Danube, Ms Fulop said.

The first plot in the park has been taken by a French-owned supermarket chain. The investors hope office space will be built in the park and want to attract call-centre and auditing companies.
