The Hungarian National Asset Management Company (MNV) plans HUF 24.5bn in revenue from privatisations of real estate in 2010, business daily Napi Gazdasag reported on Monday.
MNV expects sales of hospital buildings to generate a combined HUF 16bn, including HUF 9bn from the sale of the former Szabolcs Street hospital in Budapest. Sales of old army barracks will account for the rest of the revenue from real estate privatisations.
MNV expects HUF 30.6bn in dividends in 2010, even though state-owned companies are seen generating combined losses of HUF 22.8bn.
the state is now dumping massive amounts of property in an already saturated market. Surely the property will be sold via these new “accredited and fully trained and licensed real estate brokers” !! Surely they wont be sold and re-sold on the black market/kez penz!! with attorneys that want to be cash only/kez penz!!!
Most of those ancient, dilapidated hosital buildings would never be used as hospitals in any other country ouside of Hungary. Well, maybe only in some of the most God-foresaken, pee-poor nations of Africa and Latin America. Whoever ends up buying them, they can keep them.
I would never go to a Hungarian hospital, never. I like life too much to take a chance on them, I suppose.
Does it again sound like someone who doesn’t live in Hungary is whining about Hungarian health care?
In the past five years there has been in our family two hospitalizations (+ surgeries) plus two births. We have received adequate care (when considering the resources). Only reason to complain might be that hospitals allow gypsies to visit their relatives there as large group.
some magyar just died after he was turned away from 3 budapest hospitals. apparently died with a bleeding stomach ulcer. i think however that the level of hungarian medicine/medical care is on the horizon for america; especially with the imminent creation of communist healthcare “rights” in the US. A 65 year-old friend of mine was recently instructed to return to the US for cancer care because according to the Doc: “you will die here if you dont return”. Another friend has waited for 2 years for a knee replacement. But 99% of the hungarians living in America are receiving top 1% quality care in the US. How many MRI’s in the whole of Magyarorszag? 3?
@ Shopping Fiend Sherlock Holmes, I guess it’s time to get your rabies shot, Fool!!!
)
Anyhow, you do not have to “live” in a country to use or not to use their medical system, You Medical Dumbass. You can live in a country and use their system — or not. Or you can visit a country for just a few days, and if the need arises temporarily avail yourself to that country’s medical system — or not.
I would do neither.
Listen, if YOU are unfortunate enough to both live in Hungaria AND have to use their crappy “health care system,” don’t you expect any sympathy out of me or any of the other readers here, Poor Soul.
Now, if you compare the quality of health care to that given to Gypsies, then I have nothing to respond to that. But just accept that some of us have sort of considerably higher expectations than that which apparently pleases you quiter well.
BTW, some overnight hospital patients have no visitor at all, some have one or two, and some (Gypsies and others, I am sure) may have 8 or 10 at the same time. And just what does any of THAT have got to do with the quality and quantity of medical services being delivered in a particular country, hmmm!?
HEY EVERYBODY. This dumb FUCK HAS DONE IT AGAIN. That is not true what i said about Gypsies.I LOVE EM ALL. Honestly.
Ladies and gents, is there someone around like a fricking WEBMASTER here? Some totally useless prick or bitch is using my handle (Donizelli) to post, instead of using his/her/its own.
Like this short shit here, the “REAL Donizelli” did not write it:
“HEY EVERYBODY. This dumb FUCK HAS DONE IT AGAIN. That is not true what i said about Gypsies.I LOVE EM ALL. Honestly.”
Wow, all the sick fucks that have no life and no names of their own, hmmm?
@Donizelli: We can’t prevent spoofing right now, but are working on it – in the meantime, if you want to secure this screenname, you should go register as an allhungary user; when we are done, at least no one will be able to use your handle.
@Erik. MY TAKE: Will i have to register eight times to use eight handles ( Kocsog, Beju, Fantron, Expat Hun, Anonymous, Filmic et all ) or can i still use them all with one registration FOOL hmmmm!? Just asking so i will know the future FOOL.
@Erik, I truly appreciate that. Pls look up from this posting of mine and below yours, he or she had done it, yet again! Whoever this jerk is (I hope we are not talking about jerks, as in plural) is writing blogs here, apparently using many bloggers’ handles simultaneously! Not only that, he or she is apparently proud of it. This is very disturbing for those of us who have something worthwhile to say now and then. None of what this identity staaling jerk had ever written is of any use, it seems to me. Pretty soon, the entire blog system will be useless, because nobody will know who really writes and posts what.
I’ve noticed the option to Become an All Hungary Member. Will do so, but are you saying that even after that happens, this loony-bin jerk (jerks?) can continue spoofing and post stupid-ass stuff in other bloggers’ names? That would be most unfortunatek, indeed. Meanwhile, thanx again, Erik. I am sure you guys realize how this nasty practice takes away and mars everyone’s experience using your site.
Spoofing adds a bit of spice to an otherwise
dreary set of self-opinionated tosspots that
like to sound off about everything and nothing in particular at regular intervals on Erik’s wonderful forums. (Is my cheque in the post, Erik?)
American spelling “check”! How do they (Americans) differentiate between I have to check my oil and fuel level, and the check is in the post? In respect
of the same spelling??
The last question was compiled by Viking.
@Erik: At long last, we seem to be getting to the dark-brained hiena playing all of us for a fool!!!
The latest iteration of this shady imbecile is “Dongizellijnr,” and here is what he/she/it had to say:

MY RELATED QUESTION: Erik, seems to me why might simply be talking about a DIGRUNTLED FORMER “EMPLOYEE” of your company here, or what? I mean… just what type of a check should be in the mail now, from you to him? I guess until he/she/it gets it, he/she/it will continue to create havoc here for the rest of us, hmmm?
Any clue, anyone!?
