PM says Hungary can retake position as leading economic power in region

Hungary can retake its position as a leading economy in Central Europe, a position it enjoyed in the second half of the 90s, Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai told Hungarians at an event in New York.

Hungary has reached a very active period as it comes out of the crisis, and with its actions the country wants to become a leading economy in Europe and the region, Mr Bajnai said. Hungary was able to return to global debt markets just 8-9 months after its government securities market locked up, he added.

Mr Bajnai blamed the loss of Hungary’s role a leading economy in the region on the country’s political parties, who put off reforms to win votes.

Asked what guarantee there was that reforms would continue after general elections in the spring, Mr Bajnai said it would be the responsibility of the next government to carry on a sober, frugal and forward-looking economic policy.

The biggest problem for Hungary in the next 10-20 years will be the integration of the Roma, Mr Bajnai said. Without a solution, the country will not be able to develop sustainably. The next government will have to deal with the problem continuously, he said.

Mr Bajnai met with the Hungarian-born investor George Soros and former US ambassador to Hungary Nancy Brinker on Monday.

Apparently, PM Gordi Bajnai thinks that the people of New York City, NY, USA are all certifiable idiots. Like the Hungarian people apparently are.

Hungary a “leading economy in Central Europe?” Maybe in another 1,100+ years, if they are very lucky. But not before then. And even assuming the best, a country actually has to last that long…

Bajnai sez: “The country wants to become a leading economy in Europe.”

MY TAKE: Well, wanting something and actually GETTING it are two different things, hmm? Anyhow… I was just wondering, how much did the Hungo government had to pay to the participants who have attended this idiotic cicrus-circuit lecture by Gordi Bajnai? Whatever they paid per head, probably wasn’t enough.

Bajnai in Amerika – surrounded by those two time-tested foot servants of Israel, Georgie Soros and Nancy Binker. Where exactly was this meeeting held in Manhattan anyhow, I wonder, at the Israeli General Consulate?

Bajnai Gordon the commie foot soldier and useless bastard at best. Kowtowing and slumming with
known insider-trading criminals – George Soros to name but one.
Hungary is in trouble. No amount of foreign/EU loans can salvage the hopeless situation which
threatens to engulf Hungary and send the remainder of what’s left of its working population to other countries to find employment.

The gypsies have stolen your land. Are the jews to blame?
Canada wanted your surplus and many of them came
Oh what a mighty blunder they must realise it now!
The lazy bastards cannot work they just do not know how.
Bureuacrats from the Union of Europe wipe their dirty feet
Upon your corrupt, and commie, national balance sheet
The governor of the Magyar bank stashed away his cash
In a private offshore account opened in the name of Gordon Flash
Lendvai, Bajnai, Ferenc, and let me think, Somoly and the rest
Indicted by the people because they failed and are useless at best.

And now the howling wind sweeps across the pusztas
The Whispers grow louder and the people no longer trust us
Wretched and useless government more hapless by the day
Surely we should vote and try to do things in a different way?

A country whose “International Goodwill Ambassador” is none other than persona non-grata Mr. George Soros is in deep doo-doo indeed! And the worse is yet to come, surely. This ‘Westerns-tyle democracy’ business certainly did not work out too well for the hapless Hungos, did it now?

    R.I.P, HUNGARIA!!!!

So what is new? This story is just another Hungarian Prime Minister telling everybody a pack of lies and exactly what they want to hear before the General Election. I love the bit where he promises that the Roma Apartheid will last another 10 to 20 years. That should get some votes from the whites. Not so sure that it will help to get the Roma vote that they previously said they wanted. Segregation is going to continue for a long time to come.
