Rebuilding of historic District VII hotel complex reaches milestone

The structure of the future Hotel Continental Zara was recently topped off, with developers of the property on Dohány utca in Budapest’s District VII saying it is on track for an opening in June of next year.

The Ft 14 billion project takes in the former Continental Hotel, and includes parts of the former Hungaria bath.

Investor Zeinahotel Limited says the new hotel will offer 272 guest rooms, nine apartments, a galéria café and bar, a roof garden with a capacity of 150, a meeting room with a capacity of 230, section rooms, a corporate and business club, and a boutique spa.
