Danubius Rádió will turn to the courts to appeal against the decision of the National Radio and Television Board (ORTT) on the tender that led to it losing the radio frequency licence it had held since 1997, Napi Gazdaság learnt. Sláger Rádió, the other station that lost its licence in last week’s decision, has already turned to the courts.
Radio station Advenio won Danubius’s frequency, while FM1 took Sláger’s place on the dial.
Danubius CEO Ádám Földes rejected rumours that the station is in talks with Advenio.
