National tax office APEH has created a “wealth tax calculator” so that taxpayers will have an easier time complying with the recently-passed law creating the new tax on property and other assets, writes napi.hu.
The calculator will be capable of offering information about the value of residential property.
Use of the tool will be entirely voluntary, and users need not put in any more information than what will go on their tax declarations.
If testing of the system is successful, the calculator will be available to everyone from the middle of December.
