Media group CEMP takes control of regional text ad network Etarget

Central European Media & Publishing (CEMP) has purchased the remaining 20% of text ad network Etarget, reports napi.hu.

According to the portal, CEMP bought 20% of Bratislava-based Etraget SE on November 12, thus becoming a 100% owner of the company, which is present in seven countries in the region: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria. The sellers of the stake were the founders and previous leaders of the company, Peter Vidovic and Robert Veres.

The president of the board of directors of Etarget is now Miklós Vaszily. With the addition of his new international task, Vaszily's position at Index.hu Zrt and the CEMP group cease to exist, but he is still working as president of the board of directors of online book store operator Bookline Nyrt. (CEMP is a 50% owner of Napi Gazdaság Kiadó Kft.)
