Austrian firm to target Hungarian seniors with special mobile phones

Austria’s Emporia Telecom will soon begin selling mobile telephones designed for the elderly at shops in Hungary, the business daily Vilaggazdasag reported on Wednesday.

Emporia Telecom owner-director Eveline Pupeter-Fellner told the newspaper that T-Mobile would begin marketing the simple-to-use, large-screen and -button telephones next Monday, while major electronics stores in Hungary would also start selling the phones within the coming weeks.

Emporia Telecom expects to sell a half million of the telephones this year.
