Local management group buys Icelandic-owned printing firm

The management of Infopress Group (IPG) Hungary has purchased the company — including its HUF 6bn printing plant near Budapest which started production in February — from its Icelandic parent KVOS, IPG told MTI on Tuesday.

IPG Hungary was bought by its CEO Imre Lakatos and its sales director Viktor Lakatos. The purchase price was not revealed.

The company will maintain a close cooperation with other Infopress Group members even after the acquisition, IPG Hungary said.

IPG Hungary publishes premium-category magazines such as Playboy and Glamour.
