ORTT to call tender for last free Budapest radio frequency

Hungary’s frequencies authority ORTT on Wednesday decided to call a tender for the last free radio frequency in Budapest.

A tender for the 92.9 MHz frequency is expected to be called in the middle of January and a decision could be made on the winner by the spring.

Internet portal Index said the American company Emmis, which owns Slager Radio, would likely bid for the frequency.

Slager Radio earlier had a concession for a country-wide frequency, but did not win it back in a recent tender. Emmis contested the results of the tender.

Does anybody know who to give money to in order to win this tender? Or rather who should the political donation be made to? Maybe it is published in the appendix of the tender who that might be. Emmis probably already knows since they were shaken down before, but didn’t play ball. Nevermind, I’m flying out of Ferihegy so I’ll stop by the legal department and ask.

  2. JD says:

    Simple Forintman, ………. ME !

You can hand it to me in unmarked notes in a car park of our mutual agreement.

I’ll do my best to ensure you win also shortly after flying out of Ferihegy ;)

No no no, it’s ME you give it to. The short guy in
the pimp suit. I’ll find you.
