Debrecen-based Cívis Hotels has sought bankruptcy protection as it tries to agree with creditors and collect receivables in an effort to continue operations, HVG reports.
The company operates the well-known Arany Bika hotel in Debrecen, among others.
The hotels will operate as normal while the company is under bankruptcy protection. Cívis Hotels, majority-owned by its management and employees, recorded a net loss of Ft 205 million in 2008.
