Three-quarters of €210 million Corvin Offices project already let

Hungarian-owned property developer Futureal group has leased 75pc of the 24,400 square metres of office space in the EUR 210m Corvin Offices, part of Corvin Promenade, a big rehabilitation project in Budapest’s District VIII, project manager Janos Berki said on Thursday.

From January, Garantiqa Credit Guarantee will move into 3,200 square metres of the new office space and printing company Ringier Hungary will take over 6,800 square metres, Mr Berki said. A company in the healthcare business will move in as well, he said, declining to name the company.

Corvin Offices has some 34,000 square metres of retail space which has been taken up by France’s Klepierre. Shops will first open in the space in the autumn of 2010.

The office building has a 440-space underground car park.
