The European Union has granted Hungary HUF 95bn (EUR 345m) in support for expansion of the M0 motorway ring road around Budapest, Ministry of National Development and Economy State Secretary Laszlo Varju announced on Tuesday.
Mr Varju said that Hungary’s government would provide the remaining HUF 25bn in funding for the HUF 120bn project.
The expansion of the M0 motorway is expected to be completed by 2012.
