Job security is the biggest worry among Hungarians, according to a survey by market researcher Nielsen.
In all, 23% of respondents mentioned jobs as their biggest concern, followed by their children’s education and career, as well as rising energy prices, both mentioned by 12%.
Health, debts and the balance between job and family life each were named as the main worry by 11% of respondents. Only 5% mentioned the economic situation, 4% political stability, and 3% rising food prices. Further down the list, at 1-2%, were the well-being of parents, crime, rising fuel prices and global warming.
The poll was part of a survey carried out in 54 countries. Globally, the general economic situation is the chief concern of 18%, with job security second at 14%. The balance between job and family life was mentioned by 12%, health 10%, debt and the education and career of children 7% each, rising energy prices 6% and rising food prices 5%.
