About HUF 736bn has been paid out under the New Hungary Development Plan, the framework for European Union development funding in the 2007-2013 budget period, National Development and Economy Minister Istvan Varga said on Friday.
So far, about 38,000 applications have been submitted for funding under the plan. Of these, some 17,300 have won a combined HUF 3,400bn in grant money, Mr Varga said. Payments under the plan have speeded up, with amounts rising from HUF 30bn in March 2009 to HUF 70bn in October and HUF 100bn in December, he added.
Hungary has submitted 24 big EU-supported projects to Brussels for approval, the second-highest number after Poland. Sixteen of the projects have be given the go-ahead.
and the real question is what Hungary has to DO for that money, because the EU don’t GIVE that money FOR FREE.
One of them will be open borders to mass immigration from non western countries. So Hungary will be faced with them same huge problems as the western countries……
A HIGH PRICE TO PAY!!!!
Geza–So true, you just do not even scratch the surface as to the conditions MSZP scum agreed to on behalf of Hungary.
