Hungary’s annual consumer price inflation accelerated to 5.6 percent in December from 5.2 percent in November, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Thursday.
The twelve-month December figure was roughly in line with the 5.64 pc consensus in a poll by MTI among City analysts in London.
Compared to the previous month, consumer prices did not change, after rising 0.3pc in November.
