MVM in talks on acquiring stakes in E.ON electricity distributors

The state-owned Hungarian Electricity Works (MVM) is in talks on acquiring stakes in German utilities giant E.ON's electricity distributors in Hungary, MVM communications director Agoston Tringer told MTI on Tuesday, confirming wire reports.

The talks are in line with a declaration of intent signed by MVM and E.ON last June.
