PSZAF approves Magyar Telekom buyout offer for EPT

Financial market regulator PSZAF on Wednesday said it approved a public offer by Magyar Telekom for all outstanding shares of First Pest Telephone Company (EPT) at a price of HUF 16,300 per share, the same as nominal value.

Magyar Telekom already owns 97.2pc of EPT shares. Purchasing the remaining shares will cost Magyar Telekom HUF 21.7m.
