Hungary’s transport minister has opened a tender supporting rolling road (ROLA) trains that carry lorry trailers to foreign companies, according to a decree in the latest issue of the official gazette Magyar Kozlony.
Companies are eligible for up to EUR 6 per train-kilometre in Hungary or EUR 2,500 per ROLA train, but no more than 30pc of the cost of delivery. A total of HUF 700m will be available this year under the tender.
