New car sales in Hungary dropped 50.3pc to 2,970 in January 2010 from the same month a year earlier, falling 60.5pc to 56,000 for all of 2009, auto industry research company Jato Dynamics said on Wednesday.
Hungary sustained the largest January decline in new car sales among the 26 European countries in which Jato compiled data.
