Opposition leader vows to “Hungarianize” economy

Viktor Orban, tipped to head the next government after the April election, said in a keynote speech on the economy on Thursday that the essence of his national policy was to “set Hungary’s economy on Hungarian feet”.

The next government’s job will be to be truthful about the state of the economy, make conditions simpler and more achievable for companies, restore fiscal and financial discipline, renew foreign economic relations and protect the resources of the Hungarian economy. He said these resources were its farmland, water base, exceptional Hungarian products and producers.

The leader of the conservative party told a meeting of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry that if a unified, single-party government were to come into power then there would be huge opportunities for the Hungarian economy. He said such an administration should be maintained for the next 15-20 years.

Last time Fidesz was in Government they did similar things by introducing:
    * minimum wage (helped fiscal and financial discipline)
    * unique serial numbers on wine bottles (tax-labels) (fiscal and financial discipline)
    * harder checks and controls on the wine and beer producing industry, making it very hard for small companies that were not propped up by foreign capital to survive (fiscal and financial discipline and renew foreign economic relations and protect the resources of the Hungarian economy (old wine yards owned by expat Hungarians coming back to set up operation again)

In the end of the day he will need to get back the money from MOL that the current Govt has given them by not applying the same taxes on to them:
“3. The Commission wishes to draw the attention to Article 14 of Council Regulation
(EC) No 659/1999, which provides that all unlawful aid may be recovered by the Member State from the recipient”

That will be hard to combine with the aim to:
renew foreign economic relations and protect the resources

Orbán is looking at the elections. He knows that if he tells the real story he will loose big time!! (EU plans with Hungary end of protecting the resources)
It is nothing else collecting votes based on big lies, while working with the EU to destroy the nation state we call Hungary.

This is nothing “EU plans with Hungary”
This is another (negative) way of describing the
    * Common Market
    * Free movement of People and Goods/Products inside the same Common market
    -
This is the other side of the coin that makes it possible for Hungarians to move freely inside the EU and find their fortune elsewhere, in competition with whoever live there already
Of course, for people like Géza this is a threat and not an opportunity, but it is not Hungary-specific
The rules applies to all EU member states and in the ‘rich West’ Géza’s friends are nervous for these ‘Hungarians’ and others that come there, but in Europe we need to learn to live like one people to survive the future with its big challenges from Russia, China and the US

United we will win, divided we will fall

Just counting the number of gypsies in Hungary at the moment. So many -lost cout.
    Census by consensus makes sensus.
