Hungary mobile internet subscriptions grow to 946,000 in January

The number of mobile internet subscriptions in Hungary rose 13,000 to 946,000 in January, with the number of active mobile internet subscriptions growing 21,000 to 736,000, the National Telecommunications Authority (NHH) said on Wednesday.

In January 2009, the number of mobile internet subscriptions was 508,000, including 424,000 active subscriptions.

In terms of the total number of mobile internet subscriptions, T-Mobile’s market share rose to 46.38pc from 45.93pc in December, Vodafone’s share grew to 25.04pc from 24.72pc in December and Pannon’s fell to 28.58pc from 29.35pc in December.
