The Hungarian government has increased the support granted to Hungarian businesses operating in neighbouring countries by 250 million forints (EUR 926,000) for this year, minister for social coordination Peter Kiss told a conference of enterprise promotion centres at Subotica, N Serbia, on Monday.
The 32 centres are in charge of mediating Hungarian government support to ethnic Hungarian businesses in neighbouring countries with the single exception of Austria.
The support primarily provides funds required for these companies to participate in EU programmes.
