State lottery company Szerencsejatek stopped accepting payment with bank cards at its shops on March 1, daily Nepszabadsag reported on Wednesday.
Szerencsejatek’s press department said operating a bank card payment system was too expensive. The decision will affect 77 of Szerencsejatek’s shops. Other retailers that sell Szerencsejatek products may still accept bank cards as payment for lottery tickets.
