T-Mobile and Ericsson are examining cutting edge mobile internet networks in practice, the two companies announced.
The companies joined forces to establish the technology in Budapest last year.
Long Term Evolution technology allows users to download multimedia content up to four times faster than current downloading speeds. This advance is necessary as data traffic and mobile internet subscriptions have rocketed since the launch of High Speed Packet Access services, T-Mobile said.
Hungary’s leading mobile carrier has 430,000 mobile internet clients.
