Budapest Airport forecasts that Ferihegy airport will have 8.2 million passengers this year, up from 8.1 million in 2009.
During the crisis the number of passengers going through Ferihegy only dropped by 4.1%, below the average decrease in the EU of 5.9%, Budapest Airport air traffic director Kam Jandu said. The fall in flyer numbers was 8.3% in Vienna and 7.8% in Prague.
