Marriott International to open new Budapest hotel in April

Marriott International will open its first Courtyard hotel in Hungary on Budapest’s Blaha Lujza tér in April 2010, napi.hu reports.

The new hotel, which was developed by Ablon and will be the third Marritott hotel in the city, will be located in the 20,000 square meter Europeum complext, next to the Corvin deartment store.

The hotel includes 235 guest rooms and seven halls for conferences.

Marriott International Inc is aiming to double the number of its European hotel rooms by 2015, raising their number to 80,000. The company operates 174 hotels in 24 European countries.
