Visit Hungary – land of a thousand crazy hotel projects, most of which never get built! For our newest destination, we bring to you the underwater luxury hotel a company called Trimp Holding Zrt. says it is planning to open near Kiskunhalas in September 2013. According to Béla Kökény, CEO of the Diósd-based firm, three of the building’s four floors will be surrounded by salt water all variety of sea life. Adding to the project’s… incredibleness is the fact that a day after index.hu published news of it, the town where it is supposed to be said basically they’d never heard of the thing.
An associate of town head architect Péter Tóth said he had held talks with Trimp Holding, but that they had agreed on nothing specific.
Kökény has nevertheless said permits for the Ft 10.5 billion (€37.3 million) projects would be acquired by October, with construction starting shortly after that.

That’ll be the picture they use for the underwater hotel they are currently using to advertise the one that is due to open in Istanbul 2010. Almost forgotten about that since the news releases in 2008. http://www.istanbulview.com/underwater-hotel/
I take it there is no connection with Poseidon resorts? poseidonresorts.com
I don’t know, which one to choose Kiskunhalas or Istanbul?
p.s. Apologies to ‘family’ in Kiskunhalas, but, you know…
Trimp just ain’t no Trump.
Trump + Shrimp = Trimp.
