Williams Grand Prix team crashes out in trademark dispute with Hungarian company
Formula One motor racing team Williams Grand Prix Engineering Limited will probably take down their logo from their racer’s clothing and shoes before the Hungarian Grand Prix to be held this Sunday, to avoid further dispute with a Hungarian company in the children’s and sports clothing business also called Williams.
Accoring to fogyasztok.hu, the Vecsés-based company got into an argument with the racing team way back in 1998 when the latter attacked the former’s choice for a logo despite it had been registered by the Hungarian Patent Office. And now they’ve apparently prevailed.
