Hungarian investment funds and assets managers held HUF 9,200bn for institutional investors at the end of Q2, 3.96pc more than three months earlier, the Hungarian Association of Investment Funds and Asset Managers (BAMOSZ) said on Tuesday.
Assets of investment funds managed by BAMOSZ members rose 4.94pc to HUF 3,510bn. Assets managed for pension and health funds came to HUF 3,609bn. The pension and health funds drew about 95bn in fresh capital in Q2.
Assets managed for insurers came to HUF 1,677bn at the end of Q2, including HUF 652bn of unit-linked products. These products drew HUF 7bn-10bn in fresh capital in Q2.
Assets managed for private individuals, organisations, local councils and foundations came to HUF 404bn at the end of Q2, a small fraction less than three months earlier.
