Budapest’s “other” Postapalota to be converted into five-star hotel

Budapest’s historic downtown Postal Palace (Postapalota) will be converted into a five-star hotel. Located on Petőfi Sándor utca in District V (and not to be confused with another building in Széll Kálmán tér also dubbed the Postapalota), the 19th century former main postal building will be restored to its original state and get two more stories, as well as a glass roof over its inner courtyard.

According to hg.hu, the design for the project, created by the M-Teampannon architectural firm, has received the local planning council’s go-ahead.

Both Postapalotas had its scandal between 2004 and 2009. However, the press preferred to close its eyes. Is it part of press freedom not write about corruption if they choose not to ?
“Free press OR free of charge press ? That is the question.” Income e.g. from advertisement money might be more important than the truth.
