There were 4,934 new passenger cars registered in Hungary in January, 43.9pc more than in the same month a year earlier, market researcher Datahouse told MTI on Wednesday.
The total number of new vehicles registered in Hungary in January came to 6,024, up 30.3pc from the same month a year earlier.
New light commercial vehicle registrations climbed 20.6pc to 879. Registrations of large commercial vehicles fell 58.5pc to 162.
Motorcycle sales were down 20pc at 46.
Just three new buses were registered in January, compared to 8 in the same month a year earlier.
