Hungary’s industrial output fell 0.4pc in the twelve months to May according to unadjusted data and rose 1.9pc according workday-adjusted figures in the period, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said in a first reading on Friday.
Output rose 3.2pc from April according to seasonally and workday-adjusted data, KSH said.
Five-month output was down 0.7pc from a year earlier.
Unadjusted output fell yr/yr for the third month in a row. Adjusted output was up after a 3.1pc yr/yr decline in April.
